Not a real post; just something that made me smile.
In the New York Times yesterday, the always-insightful Eric Asimov shared a few thoughts on the undersung delights of "everyday" wines.
He writes of tasting a collection of dolcettos: "We were surprised by the consistency of the wines. Few were marred by oakiness, ambition or cynicism."
Ah, the cynical wine. The bane of my existence!
Brought a smile to my Wednesday, anyway.
This photograph was shamelessly swiped from the NYT article.
